Author Expertise & Accountability

All contributors must demonstrate relevant background or expertise, such as journalism degrees, fact-checking experience, or deep domain knowledge. Every article is signed by the author, with a brief bio available on our team page. Authors are accountable for their work and must correct errors promptly upon discovery.

Sourcing Standards

We rely on primary sources: official documents, direct quotes, verified social media posts, certified public records, and direct interviews. Secondary sources must be reputable news organizations or academic publications. Anonymous sources are strictly forbidden. All sources are linked or clearly cited in the article body.

Handling of Rumours & Unverified Claims

We never present rumours as fact. If a claim is widely reported but uncorroborated, we explicitly note it as unverified and explain the uncertainty. Speculation is clearly labelled and attributed to its originator.

Special Care: YMYL Claims

For health, death, legal matters, relationships, crime, and coverage of minors, we apply heightened vigilance. Claims about a person’s medical condition, cause of death, or criminal charges require at least two independent primary or authoritative secondary sources. Content about minors adheres to strict ethical guidelines, never including identifying details without clear public record and overriding public interest.

Review & Fact-Check Workflow

Each article passes through a structured workflow: author drafts with full sourcing, senior editor reviews for compliance with our standards, and a dedicated fact-checker verifies every factual claim against original sources. High-stakes claims undergo a second round of review. Only after all checks are passed is the article published.

Updates & Versioning

All articles include a timestamp of last revision. Whenever new information or a correction affects previously published content, we update the article and log the change in an internal version history. Significant updates are noted at the top of the article with a clear explanation.
